Turn and Shoot

Finishing Drill

Striker must be in movement prior to receiving the pass. A good turn in between the mannequins followed by an accurate  strike must be well executed.

Attack v Defense

Moving the ball around

Reds must find a way around the defenders with a 3-touches restriction and score. Defenders must win the ball back and clear the ball safely.

Pressing Drill

Closing Down & Delay

Prevent the opposition from playing the ball from the back  through the flanks. The Objective is to press smartly as the ball travels from one red defender to one another.

Attacking Overlap

Starting from the middle. the purpose of the overlap is to create an extra man and have a 2 vs 1 situation.

Introduction of defenders. As the B player receives the ball from A. One defender comes out and protects his goal. B can make full use of his options (taking on the defender in 1v1 or using his partner as a support).

Taking on the mannequin. Pace, improvisation and finishing will be key to success.

Moving around. keeping the ball

5 v 5 Possession drill during which players will need to be aware of the space around them. Using movement, ball shielding, fake-runs, good passing, vision and communication is essential here.
